The call you missed was probably a booking.

Brin Front Desk is an AI receptionist for med spas and other appointment based businesses. It answers when your team is with a client or the office is closed, says only what you have approved it to say, and takes down who called and what they wanted.

Built by Brin Solutions in Houston. We are working with a small first group of practices while we get it right.

On a real call

What actually happens.

Nobody is free, the phone rings anyway. Here is the whole sequence, in order.

  1. The phone rings and nobody can take it Your team is mid-treatment, or it is seven in the evening. Today that call goes to voicemail, and most people do not leave one.
  2. It answers A real conversation, out loud, straight away. No menu, no hold music, no callback form.
  3. It answers only what you approved Your hours, your services, where you are, what to expect. You decide in advance what it is allowed to say.
  4. Anything clinical goes to your team It does not give medical advice. Questions that need a practitioner are routed to you rather than answered.
  5. It takes down who called and what they wanted Name, number, and the reason for the call, including an appointment request when that is what they are after.
  6. You get the summary The whole call, written up and waiting, so somebody can pick it up when they are free.

The part people ask about first

You decide what it is allowed to say.

A receptionist that improvises about a medical practice is a liability. This one works from a script you have reviewed, and it is built to stop rather than guess.

Approved answers only

It speaks from information you have reviewed and signed off. Not from the internet, and not from whatever it can infer.

It says when it does not know

Rather than invent an answer, it offers to take a message and pass the question to your team.

It supports your team

It picks up when nobody is free, after hours, or when the phone rings during a treatment. Your people keep the calls they want.

Straight answers

The questions every practice asks.

These come up on nearly every call, so here they are in advance.

Will it give medical advice?

No. It is built to avoid clinical advice entirely. It answers questions about your business, and anything clinical is routed to your team to answer.

Can it book appointments?

It takes an appointment request: who called, what they want, and when suits them. It does not confirm a booking into your calendar. If that matters to you, tell us, because it tells us what to build next.

Will it sound like a robot?

It is a natural spoken conversation rather than a phone menu. This is the question worth answering by listening, not reading, so ask us to let you hear it.

Can I control what it says?

Yes, and it will not say anything else. You review the information it is allowed to give before it takes a single call, and you can change it whenever you want.

Does it replace my front desk team?

No. It covers the calls nobody was going to reach: after hours, and the ones that arrive while your team is with a client. Your people stay exactly where they are.

What about privacy and patient information?

It is designed with privacy and security controls in mind, it works from information you approved, and clinical questions are routed to your practice rather than handled. We are happy to walk through the specifics with you and your compliance people before you decide.

Hear it

The only way to judge it is to listen.

Reading about a receptionist tells you very little. Ask us and you can hear it the way one of your own clients would, then tell us what you think of it. We would genuinely like to know.
